Independent Age is a national charity dedicated to supporting older people facing financial hardship. We are seeking an experienced professional to evaluate the first round of our Older People’s Fund, a grants programme supporting 18 charities across the UK. This three-year fund, which began in February 2025 and will conclude in April 2028, aims to improve the financial wellbeing of older women from racially minoritised groups. It does so by funding projects that help older women to maximise their income, reduce their costs, and navigate housing challenges. This programme targeted local organisations with strong links to the communities they serve, with an emphasis on supporting charities that are led by and for racially minoritised groups and/or women.
