Job description
Investor Relations Strategy Specialist | Dutch speaking

London, United Kingdom

Investor Relations at Private Equity Insights

This role offers you the opportunity to expand and nurture our community of key VIP groups such as institutional investors (LPs) and other key stakeholders in the Private Equity Industry. If you enjoy defining the future of Private Equity, working in a fast-paced environment with significant responsibility, and collaborating with an entrepreneurial team, you might be our next member of the investor relations team.

Why Private Equity Insights

Private Equity Insights is the world’s largest Private Equity community with 500k followers on LinkedIn, organising a series of 12 global private equity events every year with 2,000+ GPs and 1,000+ LPs among attendees. Private Equity Insights is part of United Media, which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, finance, and retail. As of today, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

What we offer you

You will take ownership of a key business area and work in-person in our London HQ, with a clear growth trajectory. We provide:

  • The opportunity to make a real impact — hands-on operational experience in a start-up where results are tangible and matter to the business.
  • Inspiration and guidance — you will work closely with our high-performing team and the CEO/founder.
  • Unlimited growth potential — we promote internally.
  • Travel opportunities — you would join our conferences overseas.
  • Valuable transferable skills — interpersonal, research, organisation, outreach and project management through experience and training.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary but are primarily focused on:

  • Identify, maintain and develop long-standing, fruitful relationships with institutional investors who can benefit from our targeted offering and network.
  • Accommodate the investment strategy of the LP by facilitating 1:1 meetings with relevant fund managers.
  • Support the team to fulfil delivery of exclusive products such as roundtables, panel sessions, and VIP receptions, occasionally securing audiences beyond the usual definition of institutional investors (e.g., GPs).

What the future holds with our company

We believe this position lays the foundation for a very successful career. We promote internally, and a significant portion of our team moves into PE/Venture or M&A roles, reflecting opportunities within the company.

What we expect from you

The role does not require specific prior work experience as training is provided, and we are seeking candidates across different experience levels. A UK work permit is required.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a relentless drive and desire to be the very best at what they do;
  • Possess an unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency;
  • Take ownership, are proactive, and follow through on commitments;
  • Are curious about people and enjoy speaking with, and building and nurturing, relationships;
  • Are excellent communicators (verbal and written);
  • Are well-organised and able to structure and prioritise work.

Onsite role, Monday to Friday, based in our offices at Sloane Square. We work at a fast pace and in person to create market-leading, unmatched events throughout the calendar year.
