Job summary

Rothstein Recruitment seeks an Investment Performance & Risk Manager to lead performance measurement, attribution and risk analytics across multi-asset portfolios. You will work with the CIO and Portfolio Managers, chairing reviews and shaping asset allocation decisions.

The role combines hands-on analytics with leadership responsibilities, overseeing reporting, VaR and stress testing, and presenting to senior stakeholders. Expertise in FactSet, plus Python/SQL and Power BI, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong background in investment performance and portfolio risk within Asset Management or Wealth Management.
• Experience in performance attribution, risk analytics and multi-asset portfolios.
• Understanding of portfolio construction and Strategic Asset Allocation.
• FactSet experience is highly desirable; Bloomberg/Morningstar also relevant.
• Experience challenging Portfolio Managers and presenting analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Previous management experience or responsibility for leading a performance/risk function.
• CFA, IMC, CIPM or relevant ESG qualifications advantageous.
• Python, SQL and Power BI beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment performance measurement, attribution and portfolio risk analytics.
• Analyse and challenge portfolio positioning, stock selection and asset allocation decisions.
• Work closely with the CIO and Portfolio Managers, chairing regular investment performance and risk reviews.
• Contribute to Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) and portfolio construction.
• Oversee VaR, stress testing, attribution, contribution analysis and investment reporting.
• Manage FactSet analytics, reporting and monthly/quarterly factsheets.
• Present analysis to senior investment stakeholders and committees.
• Manage one direct report and improve reporting processes and automation.
