Job summary

Jobtailor in London seeks a seasoned Investment Reporting professional to own and improve Aladdin-based reporting and dashboards. You will collaborate with Investments, IT and Finance to enhance processes, drive automation, and support NAV sign-off and monthly/quarterly reporting for committees.

The role requires strong Excel/VBA, knowledge of Fixed Income & Derivatives, and experience with IBOR data production. Power BI experience is essential for dashboard delivery.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Aladdin, including Aladdin Explore, dashboard-driven reporting and workflows into Aladdin reporting dashboards
• Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives
• Understanding of risk-metrics and sensitivities Duration, Spread, PV01 and IE01
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA and PivotTables
• Technical skills to troubleshoot and build upon existing macro-driven reporting code
• Product knowledge to support production of IBOR data and valuation models
• Experience with dashboards using Power BI
• Experience delivering change and projects
• Experience in banking/asset management/insurance/hedge funds environments

Job description

• Deliver high-quality investment reporting and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Investments, IT, and Finance to enhance systems, processes, and technology
• Apply knowledge and insights concerning Investment Reporting and its impact on policyholders
• Support business outcomes relating to capital, profitability, company brand, market reputation, policyholders, and shareholders
• Act as team champion for Aladdin during the wider data change programme
• Support adoption, automation, and improvement of Aladdin-enabled reporting
• Use Aladdin, Aladdin Explore, and dashboard outputs for reporting, analysis, and controlled production of investment reporting packs
• Understand and support workflows into Aladdin reporting dashboards, identifying data dependencies, controls, and process improvement opportunities
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly internal reporting for the Investment Team, internal committees, and wider audiences
• Oversee the NAV sign-off process and subsequent queries
• Prepare and check month-end accounting reconciliations
• Support production of IBOR data through product knowledge, data validation, exception investigation, and collaboration with relevant teams
• Prepare daily Exposure and Spread reporting
• Prepare daily asset P&L attribution and derivative valuation analysis
• Monitor traded risk, including DV01 and PV01
• Prepare weekly and monthly Liquidity and Collateral reporting
• Run in-house pricing and valuation models for non-benchmark credit and ERM assets
• Prepare and review Equity Release Mortgages trade lifecycle events, including new and redeemed transactions and liquidity management
• Manage team queries and provide timely, high-quality responses
• Provide valuation expertise across complex private assets and derivatives, validating outputs, investigating anomalies, and constructively challenging assumptions

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Aladdin, including Aladdin Explore, dashboard-driven reporting and workflows into Aladdin reporting dashboards
• Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives
• Understanding of risk-metrics and sensitivities Duration, Spread, PV01 and IE01
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA and PivotTables
• Technical skills to troubleshoot and build upon existing macro-driven reporting code
• Python desirable
