A leading pension fund administrator is looking for an Investment Manager for a 15-month maternity cover role in London. The successful candidate will manage portfolio implementation projects and analyze market trends while ensuring effective trade execution. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Portfolio Implementation team as an Investment Manager, based in London (hybrid working) for a period of 15 months.

As an Investment Manager you will be responsible for managing and executing portfolio implementation projects, as well as analyse the markets, rebalance/transitions trades and index changes to formulate implementation plans with an awareness of potential risks based on pre-trade analysis, with a focus on minimising turnover, market impact and T-costs.
The role requires you to provide oversight for trade generation, cash, FX, corporate actions and transitions across quantitative and fundamental portfolios, overlays and pooled funds. You will also contribute to the planning and co-ordination with the trading desk to achieve good execution outcomes and liaise with Investment Operations, Investment IT Ops, Compliance and other departments as required.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
The successful candidate will have experience managing and executing portfolio implementation projects, with an active mind for process and operational improvement. Demonstratable experience in the markets would be essential, having previously covered different asset classes and how they trade. Previous experience managing money would be preferable.
