As an Investment Manager at Better Society Capital, you will engage in identifying, assessing, and managing impactful investment opportunities. The role requires collaboration with various teams to help develop the social impact investment market in the UK by working with investors, social enterprises, and the government. Responsibilities
  • Support the development of new investment opportunities, including identifying social issues or market needs.
  • Develop creative and innovative solutions to identified social issues, including building collaborative partnerships.
  • Lead prospective investments through the investment process, including project and relationship management.
  • Undertake detailed investment analysis of the market and prospective investees.
  • Structure prospective investments and present investment recommendations.
  • Negotiate legal documents and close transactions.
  • Manage existing portfolio investments, evaluating financial and social impact performance.
  • Coordinate fund manager reporting and support analysis on impact and financial performance.
  • Contribute to key strategic projects and strategic development within BSC's asset classes.
