Job summary

PSD Group client in London seeks an experienced Data Engineer to join the Development team. The role focuses on building and maintaining a governed data platform for asset management and investment data, enabling business users to access quality data through BI tools and scripting languages.

The candidate will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, SQL and cloud technologies, with exposure to platforms like Blackrock Aladdin being a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Snowflake and DBT experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based distributed and scalable data solutions.
• Experience in investment/asset management data environments preferred.
• Proven coding skills (Python, Java, SQL) with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the data platform to deliver well-governed, curated data for users.
• Enable business users to analyze data using BI tools, Python, and other analytics tools.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering.
