Job summary

Selby Jennings in London is seeking a senior Director with a robust Oil & Gas M&A and Energy advisory background to lead cross-border transactions across EMEA, APAC and beyond.

You will build and scale an international Energy franchise, work directly with senior leadership and strategic clients, and mentor junior talent while shaping the future direction of the business.

• Strong track record of Oil & Gas M&A origination and execution.
• Excellent analytical, valuation and financial modelling skills.

• Originating and executing complex Oil & Gas M&A and strategic transactions
• Building trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across the Energy sector
• Driving new business and helping expand the Energy franchise globally
• Working closely with global Energy, Corporate Banking, Capital Markets and coverage teams to deliver integrated client solutions
• Leading transactions from origination through to completion
• Raising the visibility and market presence of the Energy platform across EMEA and APAC
• Mentoring and developing junior talent
• Playing an active role in the continued growth of the franchise

What We're Looking For

• Significant Investment Banking experience with an Energy focus, ideally from Oil & Gas M&A, Energy Advisory or Energy Investment Banking teams
• A strong track record of Oil & Gas M&A origination and execution
• Strong analytical, valuation and financial modelling skills, with experience executing complex Energy transactions
• Existing networks across the Energy sector in EMEA and APAC (advantageous)
• A commercial mindset and proven business development ability
• An entrepreneurial drive to help grow a market-leading franchise
