Job summary

US Elite Boutique in London is seeking an Associate (experience-dependent) to join its advisory team focused on mergers and acquisitions. The role centers on sell-side execution of large-cap deals (£1B+), with exposure to public-to-private transactions and UK takeover considerations.

You will work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, performing financial modelling, valuation analyses, and multi-workstream coordination to deliver timely, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in bulge bracket or leading independent platform in London.
• Strong understanding of financial valuation methodologies and applications.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical abilities.

Our client, a Tier 1 US Elite Boutique investment bank, is actively hiring an Associate (level depending on experience) to join their growing advisory (mergers and acquisitions/ M&A) team in London.

The team mostly does sell-side M&A (predominately large cap work (ie £1B+) and is doing more work with PLCs (take-privates). Understanding UK takeover code and having a wider knowledge of multiple products, Public to Private transaction experience etc, is advantageous.

Requirements for consideration

• 2-5 years experience working in a Bulge Bracket investment bank or leading Independent platform in London. (Our client is open to considering all sector backgrounds.)
• Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies, and applications.
• Excellent Financial modelling and analytical abilities.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams effectively, delivering high quality work on schedule.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• High resilience, willingness to learn and enthusiasm.
• The team has an exceptionally strong track record in the market and the work involved will be predominately deal execution focused.
