THE SEARCH:

DRAX Altus is delighted to be partnering with a one of the UK’s most active investors. The firm has a strong track record of backing ambitious management teams and delivering value across a diverse portfolio of sectors. With a dynamic and hands-on investment approach, the fund is now seeking to hire an Investment Associate to support its continued growth.

This is a full deal coverage role, offering broad exposure across origination, execution, and portfolio management. You will work as part of a lean investment team, gaining significant responsibility and direct access to senior decision-makers, while building on your foundation in transaction services and financial due diligence.

THE ROLE:
  • Support the origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities across the growth space, focused on the South East of England.
  • Lead detailed financial modelling and analysis to assess potential transactions.
  • Drive execution workstreams, including due diligence coordination, deal structuring, and negotiations.
  • Engage directly with management teams and external advisors throughout the investment process.
  • Contribute to ongoing portfolio management and value creation initiatives post-investment.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Corporate finance or Investment banking experience
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to assess investment opportunities in detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A genuine passion for growth investing.
