Position Summary

The family office is looking to hire a talented Senior Analyst or Investment Associate to join its London investment team. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional with a strong background in M&A investment banking to transition into principal investing. The role offers significant exposure across asset classes, focusing on direct private investments and fund commitments globally. Fluency in a Nordic language is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing private and public investment opportunities.
2. Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential investments.
3. Prepare investment committee materials and support internal decision-making processes.
4. Perform market, sector, and competitive research to support investment theses.
5. Engage with fund managers and co-investment partners as part of the firm’s private markets strategy.
6. Support portfolio monitoring and contribute to strategic initiatives across existing holdings.

Key Qualifications

1. 2–4 years of experience in M&A investment banking at a leading financial institution.
2. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; detail-oriented with sound judgment.
3. High degree of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a long-term investment mindset.
4. Self-starter capable of working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
