Core-Asset-Consulting seeks an Investment Analyst to join its Fixed Income team in Edinburgh. You will support investment research, analyse companies and credit markets, and contribute ideas to portfolio decisions.

With 2–5 years’ experience in credit markets and strong Excel skills, the successful candidate will form independent investment views, communicate clearly with colleagues, and pursue CFA qualifications to advance in a fast-paced investment environment.

• 2–5 years’ experience in credit markets, ideally within a buy-side investment environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to form and communicate independent investment views.
• CFA qualification, or a commitment to completing it.
• Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with financial data.

Job Description:

Our client,an Investment Management firm in London, is looking to appoint an Investment Analyst to join its Fixed Income team, supporting investment research and portfolio decision-making.

The role will involve analysing companies and credit markets, identifying investment opportunities and reviewing existing holdings. You will work closely with experienced investment professionals, contributing ideas and sharing insights across the wider team.
