European Equity Analyst – Boutique Investment Management

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and analytically driven individual to join our boutique investment management firm. This role combines analysis of pan European specified sectors , offering the opportunity to shape investment strategy and contribute to the firm’s performance across developed long-only equity mandates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of European markets, regulatory frameworks, and a collaborative mindset suited to a boutique environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct rigorous research and financial analysis to identify investment opportunities in specified equity markets.
  • Maintain regional or sector-specific opinion lists and present stock recommendations with supporting analysis.
  • Participate in the investment process attending meetings throughout the week focused on macro outlook, sector themes, risk and specific stocks.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and rebalance as needed to optimise returns and manage risk.
  • Communicate investment rationale, performance updates, and strategic outlooks to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in investment policy committees and contribute to team-based decision-making processes.
  • Support due diligence and reporting requirements for institutional clients and regulators.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fund management.
  • Proven track record in generating successful investment ideas.
  • Familiarity with compliance systems and regulatory frameworks.
