HS2 Ltd invites applications for an Assistant Investigator to manage a caseload of reactive and proactive non-complex fraud alerts, undertake risk assessments, and present fraud awareness sessions within HS2 and the wider supply chain.

You will update investigations in third-party systems, handle allocated cases involving alleged unethical behaviour, and collaborate with investigation, compliance, audit and law enforcement colleagues.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience in an investigation environment.
• Experience conducting interviews of suspects and witnesses and taking statements.
• Ability to produce concise investigation reports with clear recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Working a caseload of alerts from proactive systems to determine causation and minimise loss.
• Updating and entering all investigative actions and recommendations to case management trackers.
• Managing allocated caseloads of investigations relating to alleged unethical behaviour.
• Supporting the Counter Fraud and Business Ethics Team on complex cases and fraud risk assessments.
• Collaborating with investigatory, compliance, audit and law enforcement bodies.
• Collating and producing reports highlighting team performance for internal and external use.
• Actively promoting Equality Diversity and Inclusion in all work and complying with EDI policies.
