We are looking for an investigative reporter to join our newly-established newsroom in central London, with a primary focus on UK-China relations and the influence of the Chinese Communist Party in Britain.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to be part of building something new, as we expand our highly successful model of journalism, rooted in ‘truth and tradition’, to British readers.
It is also a chance to make a real contribution in an under-reported field, to unearth stories of real significance, with a newspaper synonymous for fearless, comprehensive and ground-breaking reporting on China.
The Epoch Times is an international outlet grounded in tradition. It was established in 2001 by Chinese journalists resisting communist oppression and later expanded to 21 languages with bureaus around the world.
Whilst our China coverage has always been a natural strength, we aim to provide comprehensive coverage of all the important news to our readers around the world.
Before ‘cancel culture’ and ‘fake news’ were coined, our Chinese-American founders were only too familiar with media manipulation, censorship, and ideological infiltration. So when the recent news storms hit— the pandemic, lockdowns, cancel culture, online censorship, the influence of radical ideologies, creeping CCP influence, and so on— our ability to guide readers through the chaos was already hard-wired into our journalism.
We are now a household name across America, where we are the fastest-growing media outlet, with a rapidly expanding print and digital subscriber base, and a growing force in Canada, Australia and Britain.
