Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Investigator in London for a 6-month temporary contract, 36 hours a week, Mon–Fri. The role involves in-office work two days per week and supports investigations with evidence gathering and witness interviews.

You will draft clear statements, review large volumes of data, and assist with the disclosure process under applicable acts while maintaining strict information security standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in drafting clear and precise witness statements or reports.
• Proficiency in gathering, analysing, and evaluating information from diverse sources.
• Experience in formally interviewing witnesses.
• Familiarity with information and operational security.

Responsibilities

• Develop lines of enquiry and gather compelling evidence.
• Assist the case team in exercising powers under the Criminal Justice Act 1987.
• Manage multiple investigations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in searches of business and residential premises in collaboration with law enforcement.
• Review substantial amounts of material to identify relevant information.
• Lead the analysis of financial data to uncover critical evidence.
• Plan and conduct interviews with victims, witnesses, and suspects to obtain essential statements.
• Contribute to case conferences to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Support the disclosure process in accordance with the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (1996).
• Assist with victim and witness management in line with established codes of practise.
