Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage internal investigations into potential misconduct, regulatory breaches or policy violations across the business
- Gather, review and analyse evidence including documents, data, witness interviews, ensuring investigations are thorough, fair and legally compliant
- Provide clear, strategic legal advice on complex and sensitive issues
- Draft investigation reports and prepare briefings or recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify root causes and implement remedial actions
- Develop and maintain policies, training and procedures to promote a culture of integrity and compliance
- Monitor emerging legal developments relevant to investigations and advise on potential impacts
- Support crisis response and incident management where necessary
Qualifications
- A law degree – minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience
- Experience conducting investigations from start to finish
- Experience with personnel matters (discrimination, harassment, HR topics) and/or white‑collar crime investigations is particularly valuable
- Experience drafting policies, frameworks and guidance documents
- A proven track record of leading investigations of various sizes and complexities
- Ability to work in teams as well as autonomously
- Experience working with senior stakeholders
- Ability to drive change following an investigation, including disciplinary actions
- Excellent communication, written and organisational skills
- Experience conducting training
