Salary: £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends
Location: Tidworth, with regular travel to other sites
Are you ready to join a dynamic team where innovation thrives? Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a passionate and results-driven Inventory and Warehouse Manager to be part of our exciting journey.
You will be a dynamic and forward-thinking Inventory and Warehouse Manager who will own and lead all Estate Stores operations across five Army locations, ensuring the highest standards of governance, accuracy, and service performance.
You will hold end-to-end accountabilities for all Stores management, including process design, procedural compliance, and continuous improvement of materials management across the Garrisons.
You will ensure all Stores operate consistently under standardised policies, with accurate stock control, strong audit performance, and a culture of safety and efficiency.
You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Estate Stores and Supply, driving innovation and process improvement to protect and enhance service delivery.
You will work closely with Procurement, ensuring the right materials are held in stock to support operational readiness while embedding a performance-led culture across all Stores teams.
Qualifications: A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is essential, as is a professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Facilities / Operations Management. It is also essential to have an IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.
Experience: Extensive experience managing multi-site stores or inventory operations within facilities management, engineering, or maintenance is essential, as is proven leadership of teams across multiple locations, with a focus on development and performance improvement. It’s also essential to have a strong knowledge of inventory management methods, including safety stock, FIFO, and demand planning. Experience in conducting audits, managing stock accuracy, and delivering health and safety compliance, as well as ERP system proficiency (IFS preferred) for data management and reporting is imperative for this role. A strong background in logistics strategy, process improvement, change leadership, and experience in budgeting and financial management is also critical.
Skills: Inspirational leadership, people development skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities are essential skills for this role. Analytical and detail-oriented skills with a strong problem-solving capability are also beneficial for this role.
Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
