Job summary

Cencora, in Belfast, is seeking an organized Inventory Team Leader to drive accuracy and efficiency in our Service Centre inventory operations. You will lead a small team, oversee stock control processes, and ensure adherence to procedures while supporting continuous improvement and customer service goals.

You will manage stock reconciliation, variance control, and reporting, coordinating with central teams and partners to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock reconciliation to align physical and system inventory.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and manage variances.

• Coordinate perpetual inventory processes including slot checks and counts.
• Ensure new and discontinued products are processed accurately.
• Support stock management including overstock, recalls, and OOS investigations.
• Communicate with Service Centre management, Central Replenishment, and partners.
• Assist training and development of inventory team members.

Summary Of Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Inventory Team Leader to support the effective control and management of inventory operations within our Service Centre. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock control processes, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. You will play a key role in driving inventory accuracy, supporting business performance, and maintaining excellent service standards throughout the distribution operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock reconciliation activities to ensure alignment between physical and system inventory.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain stock variances within agreed targets.
• Manage inventory reports, audits, stock adjustments, and discrepancy investigations.
• Coordinate perpetual inventory processes, including slot checks and item counts.
• Ensure new and discontinued product lines are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Support stock management activities, including overstock reviews, recalls, and out-of-stock investigations.
• Maintain effective communication with Service Centre management, Central Replenishment, supply partners, and support teams.
• Assist with the training, development, and performance support of inventory team members.

• Knowledge of health and safety standards within a distribution environment.
• Familiarity with security and operational procedures.
• Understanding of Service Centre operations and administration processes.
• Experience working within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or distribution sectors.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
