Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Stores Operative to join the supply chain team in the UK manufacturing environment. You will handle deliveries, stock control and replenishment to support production, with a strong focus on accuracy and organisation.

This hands-on role requires good numeracy, IT skills and familiarity with ERP/stock systems, plus a proactive, reliable approach and knowledge of 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse or goods receiving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic IT skills including ERP or stock management systems.
• Good numerical skills and stock control awareness.
• Understanding of health & safety practices within a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, reliable approach with ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and accept deliveries of components and materials.
• Book goods into the system and route parts to the next stage in the process (e.g. inspection).
• Store materials in allocated locations while maintaining FIFO, traceability and handling requirements.
• Monitor line-side stock levels and replenish materials in line with Kanban or 2-bin systems.
• Conduct inventory checks and support stock accuracy through regular counts.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace in line with 5S and company standards.
