Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Northampton is hiring a Warehouse Operative - Goods In. The role involves receiving deliveries, checking goods against delivery notes, and recording stock to ensure accurate inventory. You will help organise items in the warehouse and support daily operations.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Previous goods-in experience is preferred and a keen eye for detail is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous goods-in or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and a reliable approach to work.
• Comfortable with manual handling duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries.
• Checking goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damage.
• Recording incoming stock and maintaining inventory records.
• Labelling and organising stock in warehouse locations.
• Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect items.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised workspace.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
