Job summary

Bridgewater Resources UK is recruiting an Inventory Controller for our Avonmouth operation to manage stock levels, purchasing activity and demand forecasting across a large product portfolio. You will negotiate with suppliers, build strong relationships and drive stock turnover while supporting promotions and reports in Excel.

This is a hands-on, office-based role with training and a clear path for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory control or stock management.
• Good understanding of stock turnover, inventory investment and demand planning.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best commercial outcomes.
• Manage inventory levels across a large product range.
• Monitor stock turnover and purchasing performance.
• Analyse sales trends, buying patterns and demand forecasts.
• Place and manage high-volume purchase orders.
• Produce reports and analyse data using Excel.
• Identify opportunities to improve stock availability and inventory efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and management teams.
