Job summary

Audit Control Inventory Services seeks self-motivated and detail-oriented auditors to perform retail inventory audits across multiple locations. You will travel up to four nights per week, input data with 10-key by touch, and generate audit results for clients. Training is provided and paid, with a typical 4–6 week onboarding period.

Role requires standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and familiarity with MS Office and email. A background check and driver history check are required for employment.

Job description

Audit Control Inventory Services is a retail inventory service based in Pensacola, FL. We currently have several positions available conducting inventory audits in different types of retail stores in the Florida area. This job does require travel up to four nights a week away from home.

The position requires confident, self-motivating individuals who are:

Currently we service clients throughout the Southeast US on a monthly basis, including FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, NC, SC, VA, LA, and AR. Our work week is primarily Monday thru Friday, with certain exceptions to allow for customer requests.

10-key by touch experience is required, previous Retail Inventory experience is preferred; training will be provided and is extensive. This is a very easy job to perform but is quite difficult to learn. Training is paid (at a training wage) until both the company, and the auditor are confident in the auditors' abilities. Most new, inexperienced auditors require 4-6 weeks of training.

The physical requirements of the job require the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, climb a stepladder and lift less than 30 lbs. on a daily basis. Other requirements include a working knowledge of MS Office, E-Mail and basic computer functions (i.e. saving, renaming and moving files, email attachments, and printing reports.)

We have performed inventories for all types of retail stores and we pride ourselves in providing our clients quick, accurate and unbiased inventory results.

Southeast USA

Full-time, salaried positions require the ability to travel throughout the southeast US. These auditors work primarily independently, with no direct supervision. This freedom requires confident, self motivating individuals who are: Honest, Detailed, Organized, Professional in appearance, Excellent Communicators and Flexible.

Because of the nature of our business, we are required to travel to our customers' location. Currently we service clients throughout the southeast US on a monthly basis, including FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, AR, TN, NC, SC, VA. Our work week is primarily Monday through Friday, with certain exceptions to allow for customer requests. Travel is not required every week, as we have numerous clients in the local area. Historically, we have attempted to schedule at least one week of local work for each auditor per month.

This position requires a mid-level understanding of basic computer operations (email, spreadsheets, forms, etc.). Are you computer literacy skills developed enough to grasp the technology requirements? *

The auditor position requires you to travel to our customer locations throughout the southeast US on a weekly basis. You will travel overnight for up to 5 days at a time, with the Company assuming all travel expenses. Are you able and willing to commit to the travel requirements of the position? *

This is a physically demanding job that requires constant movement, minor lifting, climbing on a ladder and stooping to bottom shelves on a consistent basis. Are you physically limited in any way that would prevent you from accessing all areas of the customer locations? *
