Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse - Radiology to join the Interventional Radiology Suite at the Wolverhampton site. You will work as a scrub nurse alongside experienced consultants, coordinating pre-, peri- and post-operative care for acutely and chronically ill inpatients.

• Registered nurse caring for patients in interventional radiology settings.
• Excellent communication and patient support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced theatre environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care and participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to patients and their families.
• Supervise and teach unregistered staff and students where needed.
• Work with Consultants as a scrub practitioner for interventional procedures involving lead protection.
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely delivery of care and maintain documentation.
