Intervention Tutor - Southminster

Prospero Teaching works closely with Local Councils and Schools across the UK, and we currently have a strong need for experienced one-to-one Intervention Tutors in Southminster.

As an Intervention Tutor, you'll create, plan and deliver personalised 1:1 sessions for each student. Your role is to support their re-integration into education, offering tailored tuition that replaces school during this period. Every young person receives a set number of hours, and Prospero will support you throughout by checking progress and requesting weekly reports.

Duration: Until a School placement is secured
Contract type: Temporary
Hours: 6-30 hours P/W
Rate of pay: 25 P/H via Umbrella Company

Your Role
  • Provide one-to-one or small-group tuition for students with SEND, helping them build confidence, life skills, independence, and safe community access.
  • Create and adapt individual lesson plans that target specific learning needs.
Eligibility
  • Child-related or Education qualification.
  • Previous UK education experience.
  • Experience working with SEND.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
  • Ability to provide references for the past two years.
