Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Intervention Tutors in the United Kingdom to provide one-to-one support for SEND and SEMH learners. Roles include in-person, online/remote, and hybrid delivery to students from KS1 to KS5, with flexible scheduling arranged with families and schools.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS, at least 2 years post-NQT experience, and a trauma-informed, child-centered approach. Enhanced safeguarding measures will apply to all tutors.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children and young people across a range of needs.
• Understanding of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring across KS1–KS5.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Tailor tutoring to EHCP and risk assessments, using trauma-informed approaches.
