A leading educational service provider is seeking an Intervention Tutor in Chafford Hundred to provide personalized one-to-one tuition for students with special educational needs. The successful candidate must have relevant education qualifications and experience working with SEND. This temporary role offers flexible hours between 6–30 hours per week at £25 per hour. Applicants should be eligible to work in the UK and must be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.

Job description
Intervention Tutor – Chafford Hundred

Prospero Teaching works closely with Local Councils and Schools across the UK, and we currently have a strong need for experienced one‑to‑one Intervention Tutors in Chafford Hundred.

As an Intervention Tutor, you will create, plan and deliver personalised 1:1 sessions for each student. Your role is to support their reintegration into education, offering tailored tuition that replaces school during this period. Every young person receives a set number of hours, and Prospero will support you throughout by checking progress and requesting weekly reports.

  • Rate of pay: £25 P/H via Umbrella Company
