We are looking for a skilled interpretation specialist to join the V&A Interpretation team as Interpretation Producer for Young V&A in Bethnal Green. The role develops and delivers audience-centred interpretation schemes that are meaningful, relevant and inspiring for the Young V&A’s family visitors with children 0–14 years old. The post holder will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of interpretation for updates and new displays in the permanent galleries and annual temporary exhibitions, alongside managing the maintenance and upkeep of existing schemes.
This is an exciting and varied role which encompasses interpretive work focused on the needs and interests of families. The successful candidate will be able to think both creatively and critically, have a proactive nature with strong organisational skills, and an understanding of how to craft accessible interpretation that engages and informs our visitors while achieving the overall vision of the V&A to champion art, design and creativity in all its forms, for everyone.
