This is an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an Interpersonal Violence Practitioner (Prevent Coordinator) to play a crucial role in supporting national counter‑terrorism objectives through early identification intervention and partnership working around radicalisation and extremism affecting children and young people.
Working part-time (21.5 hours per week) you will be responsible for ensuring timely responses to statutory Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) checks supporting Multi‑Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) and promoting a city‑wide multi‑agency approach to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in safeguarding multi‑agency working and community engagement particularly in the context of counter‑extremism Prevent and Channel.
Part‑time role: 21 Hr / week.
The position is office‑based though flexible hybrid working may be considered.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a DBS check is required.
