Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a Senior Manager or Manager to join its dynamic tax team. The role delivers high-quality tax services to partnership clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax rules, while supporting planning and advisory work, with a focus on partnership and partner tax affairs.

You will manage key client relationships, coordinate with the compliance team on returns and filings, and provide advisory support on transactions and restructurings, keeping clients updated on legislation.

Qualifications

• Solid partnership tax experience, including managing client relationships.
• Experience delivering tax advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of UK partnership tax and related rules.
• Ability to work with inbound US/international clients with training provided.

• Client management: Build strong client relationships, act as main contact, and provide tax advice and planning.
• Tax compliance: Coordinate with the partnership/partner compliance team on preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns and filings, ensuring UK compliance.
• Advisory services: Support strategic planning; advise on transactions/restructurings; keep clients updated on legislative changes and impacts.
• Team & growth: Help delegate work, guide junior staff, support business development and networking, contribute to proposals/marketing, and maintain technical expertise through updates and training.

This role is for you If

• You hold or be working towards an ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent ((or an international equivalent).


• Experience: Solid partnership tax experience, including managing client relationships.


• Advisory: Experience supporting delivery of tax advisory services.


• Skills: Strong knowledge of UK partnership tax; technically curious and keeps up with changing rules.


• Communication: Excellent client relationship, communication and presentation skills; able to meet tight deadlines.


• Attributes: Integrity, analytical and detail-focused, proactive, self-motivated, team-oriented; flexible/part-time possible with availability to support US time zones; eager to learn and develop.
