Job summary

WEBRECRUIT is seeking an International Manager in London to develop and manage its global learning network. The role focuses on external communications, knowledge exchange and building international partnerships to expand the network’s reach.

The successful candidate will coordinate convenings, lead a fellowship programme and support advocacy and fundraising activities while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across multiple countries.

Qualifications

  • Four years’ experience in education, government, development or charity sectors.
  • Experience building communications and advocacy strategies for social impact initiatives.
  • Experience delivering large-scale and complex projects.
  • Proven track record building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and partnership-building skills.
  • Excellent project management and multi-project coordination abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of research and evaluation methodologies in education.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy team.
  • Degree in a relevant field.

International Manager

London (Hybrid – minimum one day per week in the office)

The Organisation

Our client is focused on supporting education to break down barriers between student success and finance.

They support the education sector through research and working within schools to drive initiatives that directly support learners.

They are now looking for an International Manager to join them on a full-time basis for a fixed-term contract until December 2028. This is a hybrid role, working from their London office for a minimum of one full day per week.

The Role

As the International Manager, you will help develop our client’s network, strengthening its global presence and supporting its continued growth as an international learning network.

The role will be divided between developing and managing external communications for the network and supporting the development and implementation of effective knowledge exchange across the network.

Working in co-ordination with other international and global initiatives, the external communications you will develop will strengthen the visibility and influence of the network.

You’ll design and deliver convenings and the network fellowship programme to support knowledge exchange, whilst helping to showcase our client’s model and promote the importance of embedding evidence into education more widely.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop content that showcases the impact and learning of the network and its members
  • Build relationships with international partners and stakeholders
  • Facilitate collaboration and peer learning across the network
  • Represent the network at external events, conferences and forums
  • Support advocacy and fundraising activity
  • Manage budgets, reporting and the evaluation of network activities
About You

To be considered as an International Manager, you will need:

  • At least four years’ experience in the education, government, development, or charity sectors
  • Experience building communications and/or advocacy strategies for social impact initiatives
  • Experience in delivering large-scale and complex projects
  • A proven track record of building robust and sustainable relationships with stakeholders
  • A strong track record of successful influencing and partnership building
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience communicating complex information to a variety of audiences, including practitioners, academics, and policymakers
  • Knowledge of the use of research and evaluation methodologies in education
  • Proven ability to work independently and flexibly within a busy and highly skilled team environment
  • A degree in a relevant field
