Job summary

Mercor is partnering with a leading legal AI company on a blinded human-preference study. We are hiring disputes and international lawyers to act as expert reviewers, reading a synthetic matter, reviewing six AI-generated deliverables, and recording which output is preferred with written reasoning.

You will work independently to written instructions and a deadline, provide precise English reasoning, and contribute about 24 hours to the engagement under NDA. External AI tools must not be used.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with substantial disputes and international law experience.
• Ability to judge work product holistically with precise written reasoning.
• Fluent, precise written English and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read a synthetic legal matter and its underlying documents.
• Review six blinded AI deliverables for the matter.
• Make five head-to-head comparisons against a common output.
• Provide a short, specific rationale for every preference.
