Job summary

The University of Sunderland is seeking an International Development Officer to lead on international recruitment, partnership development and transnational education activities across our global operations. You will build relationships with overseas partners and agents to advance ambitious growth plans, representing the University at international events and contributing to the student experience.

Join our International Office and play a key role in connecting students from around the world with the University of Sunderland. As an International Development Officer, you'll work across international recruitment, partnership development and transnational education activity, helping to deliver ambitious growth plans across our global operations. From building relationships with overseas partners and agents to representing the University at international events, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our global community and student experience.

Working in a collaborative and supportive team, you'll contribute to innovative recruitment and marketing initiatives, engage with stakeholders across the University and internationally, and help prospective students take the next step in their educational journey. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working across cultures, and contributing to a truly international environment.

Is this you?

You’re a proactive and enthusiastic professional with experience in international recruitment, marketing, partnership development or a related field. You enjoy working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, are confident building and maintaining relationships, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same. You'll bring strong organisational skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.

You’ll share our commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement and delivering an excellent experience for students and partners. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to represent the University globally, contribute to strategic objectives, and support the success of our international community.
