Job summary

CVS ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists in Chester is seeking an experienced clinician to join our Internal Medicine team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. A Diplomate/ECVIM-ACVIM or residency-trained clinician is preferred, with a Monday-Wednesday pattern but flexible arrangements may be considered.

You will work alongside senior colleagues across multiple specialties, with access to CT, MRI and endoscopy, and benefit from a skilled nursing team and radiographers.

Qualifications

• Residency-trained or Diplomate in Internal Medicine.
• Current RCVS registration (MRCVS).
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Excellent English-language communication skills.
• Interest in both acute and chronic medical cases.
• Enjoy a close-knit, supportive team environment.
• High clinical standards with client- and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Join the Internal Medicine team on a fixed-term maternity cover.
• Collaborate with residency-trained colleagues and Specialists across disciplines.
• Utilise state-of-the-art equipment including CT, MRI and advanced endoscopy.
• Be supported by nursing staff, radiographers and CVS Group educators.
