Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is recruiting an Internal Auditor to join a fast-growing, international consumer products business. You will plan and deliver audits, assess controls, and report findings while engaging with stakeholders across multiple countries and business units.

The role offers a base salary of £55,000 with annual bonus and a hybrid working pattern requiring 3 days onsite in Worcestershire.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification to ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA or equivalent.
• Experience in External Audit, Internal Audit or controls testing.
• Ability to work independently and own assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercially aware and balanced risk with business objectives.
• Adaptable and keen to develop in risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal audit reviews across a range of business units and functions.
• Assess key controls and perform reviews of high-risk processes across the organisation.
• Identify findings, agree recommendations with stakeholders and prepare audit reports.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of agreed actions.
• Support the enhancement of controls, governance frameworks and risk management processes.
• Participate in group-wide projects focused on emerging and high-risk areas.
• Assist with investigations, including whistleblowing and fraud-related matters where required.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging risks, contributing ideas to strengthen the control environment.

Profile
