Job summary

Barclay Simpson is recruiting an Internal Auditor in West London for a 12-month temporary assignment. The role offers a rate up to £23 per hour plus holiday pay, with an annualised equivalent of around £45,000.

You will work closely with the Internal Audit Manager, gaining hands-on exposure across the audit lifecycle from planning to reporting and follow-up, contributing to a varied programme of reviews across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience across Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk or Controls.
• Financial services experience would be beneficial.
• Strong transferable audit or assurance experience from other sectors is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Performing audit testing across a range of business areas
• Reviewing processes, risks and key controls
• Documenting findings and contributing to practical recommendations
• Engaging with stakeholders throughout audit assignments
• Supporting the preparation of audit reports and follow-up activity
• Contributing to the delivery of the wider Internal Audit plan
