Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to join the Risk Consulting, Energy and Infrastructure team. You will contribute to internal audits, risk assurance, and contract management for a diverse client base, collaborating with both private and public sector clients.

You will work with SMEs and senior team members to deliver high-quality advisory services and support business development initiatives in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering internal audits within a professional services firm, ideally in energy and infrastructure.
• Alternatively, experience in procurement, supply chain or contract management advisory within a professional services environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

About The Team

This is an opportunity for a Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Risk Consulting, Energy, and Infrastructure team. You will join a team that works with large energy and infrastructure clients and supports our private and public sector clients. You will work in a team that delivers internal audits and advisory activities, focusing on corporate governance and compliance, contract management, risk management, and procurement.

The Risk Consulting, Energy, and Infrastructure team sits within the firm's broader Advisory and Consulting Service line. The Advisory & Consulting service line is a rapidly growing, global group of successful teams working together to present a go-to-market differentiator whilst delivering the highest quality of work for our clients.

About The Role

This exciting role will actively contribute and become pivotal in delivering specialist services to our Energy & Infrastructure clients. We have a significant opportunity to expand our footprint in this competitive market and accelerate the growth and development of our internal audit, risk management, and contract management solutions.

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will work within the team responsible for delivering work to a range of clients. You will closely collaborate with clients and provide exceptional internal audit and risk assurance services.

The current team is looking for a motivated individual who will have excellent opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver internal audits to our clients.
• Undertaking internal audit reviews, prepare draft internal audit reports.
• Engaging with the wider Energy and Infrastructure team in growing business development opportunities
• Working with our SMEs to optimise client’s ways of working
• Data analysis and visualisation
• Maintaining good relationships with clients.
• Assistance on advisory projects (e.g. procurement management, supply chain, contract management) as and when required.

What we are looking for

• Experience delivering internal audits within a professional services firm, ideally in the energy and infrastructure sector.
• Alternatively, experience in procurement, supply chain or contract management advisory within a professional services environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Excellent report-writing skills.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to present information clearly and consistently using Power BI and other tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is essential.
• Part-qualified ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA or CII, or an equivalent qualification, is desirable.
