Pearson Internal Audit offers a 3-year graduate programme in Belfast or London with hybrid working. You will gain broad exposure to financial, operational and IT audits, including AI-focused work, and present findings to senior leaders.

From day one the ACCA qualification is funded and supported. On successful completion, you will secure a permanent role within the team, with a salary of £28,000 in Belfast or £30,000 in London plus an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (or due to graduate in 2027) in Finance, Accounting or STEM.
• Interest in internal audit, risk management and governance.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and a clear writer with good communication.
• Curious, proactive and able to work independently and in a team.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Work on audits across financial, operational and IT areas, including audits over the use of AI in our business, as part of our annual audit plan.
• Test how well controls work – identify risks and recommend improvements the business can act on.
• Use AI and data analytics to plan audits and draft workpapers, and to analyse complete data populations for fuller insight than traditional sampling allows.
• Write clear audit reports and present your findings to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Legal and Technology teams on assurance and advisory engagements.
• Contribute ideas to how the audit function works through continuous improvement initiatives.
