Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd in Crewkerne is seeking a Multi-skilled Operator to join our Fruit Operations team. The role runs Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm, supporting packing, materials handling and equipment operation in a busy dairy and fruit production site.

You will work across processes, embracing Health & Safety and GMP standards, operate filling, packing and other machinery, and contribute to efficient production.

Qualifications

• Comply with Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication.
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks.
• Operate and understand use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain accuracy in paperwork and records.
• Apply GMP principles to daily work.

Responsibilities

• Embrace Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Pack well-known products.
• Operate a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines).
• Demonstrate delivery focus and complete paperwork accurately.

We are on the lookout for a Multi-skilled Operator to join our Fruit Operations team at Crewkerne. This role is a Monday to Friday role working 6am to 2pm.

Our Crewkerne site is split into different departments, including Dairy production, making great dairy products, Fruit production, supplying our business with tasty fruit to go into our yogurt and our new Savoury production team, who make hearty soups.

The Fruit Operations Department Works On

• Supply of raw materials
• Palletisation and dispatch of finished goods
• Receipt of raw materials
• Loading and unloading of lorries
• Yard Work

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Embracing Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Packing of well-known products.
• Operating a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines);
• Demonstrating a commitment to delivery, leading by example; Completing paperwork accurately.
• Application of current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices);
• Taking apart, cleaning and rebuilding production equipment.
