Hippo is recruiting intermediate UX design consultants to join Agile teams and translate research insights into intuitive user journeys. You will work with user researchers to inform design decisions and test iterative designs, while advising clients on how to get the best from UX design.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and desire to investigate, innovate and develop emerging design, UX and technology trends.
• Strong ability to recognize and predict use-cases and user interaction, including happy path, edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.
• Excellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile and the web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work.
• Experience in rapid prototyping tools, for example Sketch and Invision
• Great consultancy skills, caring about your client’s needs and motivations
• Ability to share your skills and experience with your client to enable them to continue to iterate and improve content after you leave.

Hippo Locations

We are headquartered in Leeds and have offices across the UK in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Bristol. We’re on the lookout for top talent nationwide but you need to be located within reasonable travelling distance from one of our offices. Given the dynamic nature of a consulting business, you may be required to work on‑site at a Hippo office or at an in/out of town client location for a number of days per week (client dependent) and therefore candidates will need to be open/flexible to travel and working on one of those sites at least 2 days per week. We offer a generous relocation support package of up to £8,000 (please ask for terms and conditions) to help make your move a smooth one.
