Your Role

You will investigate faults in building façades, whether caused by design flaws, material failure, poor construction methods or structural issues. Your task is to diagnose the root cause and advise on remedial action. Once a design consultant is appointed, you will peer review their proposals and offer technical input during construction if required. You will also conduct site visits, liaise with insurers, loss adjusters and legal teams, and apply your expertise in new and engaging ways. Occasional travel within the UK and Europe is part of the role.

Your Profile

A façade engineer with at least six years of design experience, strong analytical and lateral thinking skills, and a degree with a 2:1 or above. Chartered status with IStructE, ICE or RIBA is preferred.
