Job Title: Architectural Technician/ Technologist

Location: Warrington

Salary: £38-45,000 DOE

About the company:

An established architectural practice is seeking experienced Architectural Technicians and Technologists at intermediate and senior levels to join their Warrington team. The successful candidates will be able to hit the ground running, delivering commercial projects with proficiency in Revit and a thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, codes, and standards. They will work collaboratively with architects and engineers to produce high-quality architectural designs, technical drawings, and specifications. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment and can take ownership of projects from concept through delivery, including site visits and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Daily Duties
  • Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and specifications using Revit.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, codes, and standards at all project stages.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver commercial projects.
  • Lead or support project delivery, depending on experience level.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and coordinate with contractors as required.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or related field.
  • Substantial post‑qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, codes, and construction detailing.
  • Proficient in Revit with BIM workflow experience preferred; AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Experience delivering commercial projects within the UK.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
  • Membership with CIAT is desirable but not essential.
