Job summary

CDL IT Solutions Limited, Stockport, seeks an Intermediate Platform Engineer to design, build and operate cloud platforms using AWS, IaC and CI/CD practices. You will work in Platform Engineering Squad 3, delivering reliable, scalable services while collaborating with security, architecture and engineering teams.

You will leverage AI-assisted tools such as Kiro, GitLab Duo and Microsoft Copilot to accelerate delivery, improve code quality and automate repetitive tasks, within a hybrid working

Qualifications

Job Overview

Do you possess experience configuring and integrating cloud infrastructure services? Are you interested in improving efficiency and user experience through better performing applications? We are seeking an Intermediate Platform Engineer with a background in cloud infrastructure services, automation and modern engineering practices. You will work with AWS technologies to build, maintain and enhance cloud platforms through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines and operational automation. As a member of Platform Engineering Squad 3, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting platform capabilities that underpin critical business services. You will work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams to implement reliable, scalable and secure solutions while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and user experience. You will also utilise modern AI-assisted engineering tools, including Kiro, GitLab Duo and Microsoft Copilot, to accelerate delivery, automate repetitive tasks, improve code quality and documentation, and enhance operational effectiveness. We are looking for engineers who are comfortable embracing emerging technologies and applying them pragmatically to solve real business and technical challenges.
