Job summary

Gold Group Limited is looking for an Intermediate Planning Engineer based in Gloucester to join their team on a landmark £500m new build project. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of major construction activities within a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning within a UK main contracting context and will excel in managing detailed construction programmes while closely collaborating with various operational teams.

Competitive salary of up to £75,000 along with extensive benefits including a car allowance, annual bonus scheme, pension, and healthcare are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' planning experience within a UK main contracting environment.
• Strong site-based construction experience.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes.
• Monitoring project progress and reporting against programme milestones.
• Identifying delays, risks, and opportunities within the construction schedule.

Skills

Planning experience within a UK main contracting environment

Site-based construction experience

Communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject
