The Role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Fit‑Out Estimator to join the team on a freelance basis. You will prepare accurate estimates for a variety of interior projects, supporting the team in planning, budgeting, and delivering projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for interior fit‑out and refurbishment projects, including partitions, glazed partitions, floors, skirting, doors, and T‑points.
• Review drawings and specifications to accurately quantify materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
• Calculate installation costs for timber, metal stud, drywall, and modular partition systems.
• Estimate costs for glass panels, frames, and installation of glazed partitions.
• Prepare flooring estimates including subfloor preparation, materials, and installation labour.
• Cost skirting and door installations, including frames, hardware, and finishes.
• Estimate suspended ceiling grid junctions (“T‑points”) and other modular system connection points.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure cost‑efficient delivery.
• Produce comprehensive cost reports to support project planning, bids, and commercial decision‑making.
• Assist the team in commercial planning and budgeting decisions to help projects run efficiently and profitably.

About You

• Proven experience as an estimator in interior fit‑out, refurbishment, or commercial fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of partitions, glazed partitions, flooring, skirting, doors, and T‑points.
• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative, company‑run team.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident in reviewing drawings and translating them into accurate costings.
