Working closely with teams across PA Housing, you’ll tackle complex issues, manage risks and identify opportunities to improve performance. You’ll also deputise for the Head of Third Party Managing Agents when needed, helping maintain effective service delivery and providing leadership on escalated matters.

You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role. What you’ll be doing……

  • Lead, support and develop the Third Party Managing Agents team, managing workloads, performance and priorities to maintain high service standards.
  • Oversee managing agent contracts and agreements, challenging poor performance and ensuring contractual, legal, financial and property management obligations are met.
  • Review service charge budgets, expenditure, invoices and year-end accounts, challenging unreasonable costs and ensuring charges are properly evidenced and apportioned.
  • Monitor statutory consultation and service charge requirements, ensuring deadlines are met and records are accurate and complete.
  • Oversee complex complaints, service charge disputes, legal cases and First-tier Tribunal matters, working with legal advisers and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Monitor managing agent performance against agreed standards, budgets and KPIs, identifying risks and ensuring corrective action is taken.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, managing agents and colleagues across Finance, Legal, Repairs, Estates and Customer Services to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
