White Horse Employment Ltd. is recruiting an interim Technology Planning & Delivery Manager to steer a growing organisation through a period of change.

You will lead a small team, own the technology roadmap across Centres of Excellence, and run governance with regular stand-ups and reviews. You will work closely with the Head of, coordinate delivery for the Q1 2027 roadmap, embed Azure DevOps practices, and ensure smooth handover for the permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Experience running similar leadership roles in growing organisations.
• Degree or equivalent in IT, business systems, project management or similar.
• Certifications desirable: PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, MSP, PMP, ITIL.

White Horse Employment is recruiting an interim (temporary) leadership role covering the Technology Planning & Delivery Manager position for a fast-growing business, going through a significant period of change. You will be working closely with the "Head of" while they recruit on a permanent basis, expected to be 3-4 months.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of 3-4 direct reports, allocating work between project delivery and operational support.
• Own and consolidate the Technology roadmap across the Centres of Excellence, run prioritisation discussions, and flag dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate delivery of the Q1 2027 roadmap (the success factors also mention Q4 2026 priorities), tracking milestones and escalating issues.
• Run governance: chair weekly stand-ups and delivery reviews, keep portfolio reporting, risk logs and action tracking going.
• Embed ways of working, including Azure DevOps, documentation, testing, release planning and change coordination.
• Support the Technology Support team with incidents and business systems support requests.
• Produce a structured handover plan for the permanent hire.

About you:

• Someone who can step in quickly, establish credibility and keep things moving.
• Proven experience running something similar in a changing, growing organisation.
• A degree or equivalent experience in IT, business systems, project management or similar.
• Certifications are desirable (PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, MSP, PMP, ITIL).

There is an option to be considered for a permanent hire, and you will need to be on-site 2 days a week.
