Interim Tax Manager - PE-backed Logistics and Supply Chain Business

Stanton House is recruiting for an Interim Tax Manager to join a PE-backed Logistics and Supply Chain Business based in Hampshire. This is a 6-12 month contract offering £400 - £500, likely to fall outside IR35 due to the role's project element. This role offers flexible working 1-2 days per week in their Hampshire office and the rest remotely. There is also a potential need for travel to Europe, potentially a couple of times throughout the entire contract.

This exciting interim role is focused on tax management and treasury responsibilities. You will handle multiple complex projects, including tax audits and global transfer pricing initiatives. This position requires someone with international experience, ideally gained from a relevant practice or industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead tax management projects, including handling a tax audit and global transfer pricing.
• Take on treasury responsibilities to support the financial health of the organisation.
• Manage relationships with international stakeholders in Europe and South America.
• Effectively communicate and strategise with Directors and senior management.
• Provide detailed reports and insights to influence decision-making processes.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA or equivalent).
• Tax Qualification is a plus! (CTA, ATT or equivalent).
• Experience in tax management and treasury responsibilities.
• Proven track record of handling multiple international projects such as tax audits and global transfer pricing.
• Willingness to travel to Europe as required for project work.
• Proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and international teams, fostering strong working relationships in a global business environment.
