Salary: Main to Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS - depending on experience)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim SENCO to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Accrington from April 2026 or sooner.

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the school's SEND provision, working closely with the Inclusion Manager (Deputy Headteacher) and the wider inclusion team to ensure all pupils receive the support they need to thrive.

You will provide professional guidance to staff, oversee EHCP reviews, liaise with external agencies, and ensure the school's SEND practice meets statutory requirements. This role is ideal for a passionate and organised teacher with strong understanding of SEND and a commitment to inclusive education.

Essential

QTS and proven experience supporting pupils with SEND.

Desirable

NASENCO qualification or willingness to complete.
