• CCAB-qualified accountant with local government finance experience.
• Proven leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of local authority accounting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide statutory financial leadership as Section 151 Officer.
• Advise Members and senior officers on financial strategy.
• Lead budget setting, medium-term financial planning and treasury management.
• Maintain financial controls, risk management and governance.
